Lee Pace says he believes in elves and he has an interesting story to back up his belief!
The 43-year-old actor opened up about his elf experience while receiving an Honorary Degree at New York Magazine’s 2022 Vulture Festival on Sunday (November 13) at The Hollywood Roosevelt in Los Angeles.
Lee starred in The Hobbit movies and he had an experience while working on the films that led him to believe in elves for real.

It all happened while Lee was on a hike in New Zealand.
“It’s an extraordinary, extraordinary walk … I did it in five days,” Lee said. “I was going on this hike, taking pictures with my phone. And the second day, I reached for my phone, and I couldn’t find it.”
Lee said that at the end of the five-day journey, he “woke up on the last night” and his phone was stuck to his back.
“That’s elves! Is that not proof?” he said. “But they’re not evil. So they gave [my phone] back.”
